The fellowship holder will be working in Marseilles in one of the research units partners of Archimede LabEx:

  • Center for Theoretical Physics (CPT),
  • Marseilles Institute of Mathematics (I2M),
  • Laboratoire d’Informatique et Systèmes (LIS).

These are research-only appointments (with no teaching duties). They are typically for one year, with possible renewal for a second year subject to review. The take-home pay is approximately 1 974 € per month.

The candidate should contact the colleagues in Marseilles who are close to his/her specialty.


For holders of a Ph.D in mathematics or computer science obtained before October 1st, 2019.

3. A scientific project (5 pages max.) specifying members of Archimede LabEx with whom the candidate plans to interact primarily

+ One recommendation letter from the thesis advisor and two recommendation letters by scientists not members of Archimede LabEx. The letters of recommendation should be sent directly by the authors by mail
